At the North Wales Dental HUB we uses a skill-mix approach, meaning patients are seen by the most appropriate clinician for their needs at the right time.

Dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and dental nurses all play an essential role in clinical patient care, working within their individual scopes of practice (as a link here to the scope of Praxtcie document on the general dental council website https://www.gdc-uk.org/docs/default-source/scope-of-practice/scope-of-practice.pdf) as set out by the General Dental Council (GDC).

By working as a coordinated team, we are able to improve access, reduce waiting times, and deliver safe, high-quality care focused on patients’ needs.
